THE SPIRAL ENGINE OF LOCOMOTION

For one year I studied Anatomy and developed Illustrations for The Spiral Engine of Locomotion promotional posters and asana manual. I was given the task to illustration the human form from the skeletal system out to the fascial system. Ever muscle was illustrated and colored separately using traditional illustration techniques with graphite and watercolor. On separate layers, these illustrations were then color re-touched and constructed in Photoshop. Highlighted muscles illustrate the movement through the kinetic chain in the proper walking gate.
